East Gippsland Primary Health Alliance
The East Gippsland Division of General Practice has proudly supported and represented General Practitioners since 1993, implementing projects to assist doctors in many aspects of their business. We have recently changed our name to the East Gippsland Primary Health Alliance (EGPHA), signifying our goal to better serve not only GP practices, but all local primary health services and providers in the region.
The new EGPHA opens the door of membership to a broader multi-disciplinary team including specialists, allied health professionals, nurses, practice managers, paramedics and other stakeholders associated with primary care. This will provide an opportunity for local partnership across the primary health sector, creating a team-based approach to achieve better health outcomes for our communities and improve working relationships.
Our change of name and constitution also places us at the forefront of health reform in Gippsland. Our driving force is a determination to keep the organisation local. Become a member and strengthen the EGPHA’s efforts to keep local clinicians representing and serving local communities.
