The practice has specific interests, which include family practice, occupational medicine, forensic medicine, and medical options for the legal process.

The range of procedures includes minor surgery and pre-employment medicals.

Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Public Holidays & Sunday: closed

The practice is a teaching practice and is involved in undergraduate education through Melbourne and Monash Universities. Sale Medical Centre also participates in the registrar program though GetGP.

There is an 80 bed public Hospital in the town that includes operating theaters, emergency department, intensive care, surgical, medical, obstetrics and paediatrics units.
