NPS:Better choices, Better health, is an independent organisation that enables Australians to be medicinewise. Funded by the Federal Department of Health and Aging, NPS provides accurate, evidence-based information to help health professionals and consumers make the best decisions about medicines and medical tests.
NPS works closely with professional prganisations and advisory experts to ensure its programs and content reflect current best practice guidelines.

These include:
- NPS Facilitator visiting service*, Clinical audits* and Case studies
- Print prublications such as Australian Prescriber, NPS News and NPS RADAR
*Eligible for CPD/CPE points
NPS also develops resources and tools to help people be medicinewise. These include fact sheets, newsletters about newly listed PBS medicines and medicine management tips, Medicines Lists to record improtant medicine information and other useful brochures.
All NPS resources are availalbe at not cost from the tools & tips page and can be ordered in mass for practices, pharmacies, clinics, community groups and organisations.
